Awards:

Each division (male and female) placings 1st, 2nd and 3rd will get a medal based on DOTS placing.

Prize Money

Every lifter will be eligible for the prize money.

Placings are based on DOTS score and not by weight class total.

American Barbell Production will contribute $3,000 to the prize pool and sponsor fees will be added to the pool. Below are the percentages of the prize pool for placings.

Overall Female: 1st place - 20%

2nd place - 15%

3rd place - 10%

Overall Male: 1st place - 20%

2nd place - 15%

3rd place - 10%

In the case of tie (exact DOTS score) ,which is very, very unlikely, the prize money will be added together and then split between the two lifters. For example, if there is a tie for first place, the first and second prize money will be added together and split. The lifters that tie would get $875 each and then there would be a third place prize of $500.

If there is a tie for second place, the second and third place prize money will be added together and split between the two lifters. The lifters that tie will get $625 each and there will be no third place prize.

If there is a tie for third place the third place prize money will be split between the two lifters that tie.

Winnings will be dispersed after drug testing results are returned.

All winnings over $600 will be reported by law with a 1099-misc form by Powerlifting Events LLC
